Om Shri Ameshwarnath Mahadev, who is known as Baba Budhwa Mahadev. This Dham is a holy pilgrimage of Hindus. It is located in Amaon village in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. On the eastern side of this Dham is the holy river of Mother Ganga and in the east direction, Govindpur village is located; to its south-west, Bharauli and Narayanpur are located. Baba Mukti Nath is in Narayanpur village. This is the holy place of Mahadev. On the day of Mahashivratri, a huge and grand Shiva procession takes place.

Two miles away from Shri Ameshwarnath Mahadev Temple is Buxar district of Bihar. That is the nearest railway station and about 78 miles away is the airport of Varanasi (Kashi).

Varanasi (Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Kashi is one of the most famous Hindu temples of Lord Shiva. It is located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. This temple is situated on the western bank of the holy river Ganga, and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and is located at Sohaon village and 17 miles away from Ballia Railway Station, north of Shri Ameshwarnath Mahadev, the most famous and ancient historical temple of Baba Baleshwar Nath in Ballia district. And in the west, Baghauna Kala village and Tutuwari village are situated where paddy, wheat and pulses are cultivated. Buxar, a famous district of Bihar, is a historical place 2 miles away from the temple of Budhwa Mahadev.

Buxar is famous for the gods, the battlefield of gods and demons as per the Puranas and a battlefield between foreign invasions and countrymen in modern history, epics.

Famous since that period. Remains from archaeological excavations link Mohenjodaro and Harappa with the ancient culture of Buxar. This place was known as “Siddhaashram” in ancient history.

It was also known by the names “Vedgarbhapuri”, “Karush”, “Tapovan”, “Chaitrath”, “Vyaghrasar”, “Buxar”. The history of Buxar dates back to the period of the Ramayana. It is called That the word Buxar is derived from Vyaghrasar. As a result of the curse of sage Durvasa, the tiger face of sage Vedashira was restored to its original state after bathing in a sacred pool which was later named Vyaghrasara.

According to mythology, the holy ashram of sage Vishwamitra who was the family guru of Lord Rama and eighty thousand saints was situated on the banks of the holy river Ganga, which is in the modern district.

It is in Buxar. He was troubled by the sacrifices being made by the demons. The place where Lord Ram killed the famous demon Tadka is in the present day Buxar city.

Let’s go. Also, Lord Rama and his younger brother Lakshmana received their education in Buxar. It is also said that Ahalya, who was the wife of sage Gautam, attained liberation by a mere touch of Lord Rama’s feet and got her human body transformed from stone. This place is currently known as Ahirauli and is located six kilometers away from Buxar city. Kamaldah Pokhara, also known as Vyaghrasar, is now a tourist destination.

During the Mughal period, the historic battle between Humayun and Sher Shah was fought at Chosa in 1539 AD. The British army under the leadership of Sir Hitler Munro defeated the Muslim forces of Mir Qasim, Shuja-ud-Daulah and Shah Alam-II on 23 March 1764 at the plain of Katkauli, located about 6 kilometers from Buxar city. The stone monument built by the British at Katkauli still stands as a symbol of the battle.

Nath Baba Temple, Navlakha Temple, Shri Ram Rekha Ghat are located in Buxar. Through this business, you will find shops selling everything from hall sale, such as iron, steel, aluminium, clothes, fruits, vegetables etc.

And the ancient Baba Barmeshwar Nath temple of Brahmapur Dham, 24 miles away in this direction, is a beautiful temple. There is always a crowd of devotees.
